The Pirates outrighted Woodford to Triple-A Indianapolis on Sunday.
Woodford will stick around in the Pittsburgh organization after he cleared waivers upon being designated for assignment Thursday. Since signing a minor-league contract with the Pirates in June, Woodford has appeared in seven games for the big club and has posted a 7.09 ERA and 1.39 WHIP across 26.2 innings.
