Quantrill was removed from Saturday's game against the Blue Jays with right lat tightness, Shawn McFarland of The Dallas Morning News reports.
Quantrill was able to record just four outs against Toronto before leaving the mound. The initial diagnosis is a lat issue, after he worked through back tightness in his last start Sept. 13. At this stage, his status for his final scheduled regular-season start next week in Minnesota is up in the air.
