Jansen (forearm) threw to bases for a second time Saturday, MLB.com reports.
Jansen, who is working his way back from a forearm strain, also caught Jack Leiter's live batting practice Saturday. The catcher has been catching bullpens during his IL stint, and Texas manager Skip Schumaker said Jansen could be "close" to returning.
