Sborz (biceps) will begin a rehab assignment Wednesday, MLB.com reports.
Sborz, who was placed on the 15-day injured list with right biceps tendinitis July 15, played catch Tuesday. The right-hander had become an important bullpen piece over the last month before the injury flared up.
