Langford went 1-for-2 with two walks, a stolen base and a run scored in Thursday's 3-2 loss to the Athletics.

Langford stole a base for the second consecutive game and upped his season total to 18. The rookie outfielder, whose 543 plate appearances in 2024 is far beyond what he ever had in a collegiate season at Florida, is showing no signs that the major-league grind is wearing him down, and he's having his best month of the season. Langford owns a .310/.400/.598 slash line with six home runs, 17 RBI, six steals and 21 runs scored over 23 September games.
