Cobb (4-4) allowed four runs on seven hits and three walks across 7.1 innings in Tuesday's loss to the Angels. He struck out five.

Cobb gave up a pair of solo home runs on the first inning, but he cruised through six more frames before allowing another two runs with one out in the eighth. He struggled to throw strikes at times and tied a season high in free passes, one of which came around to score. While the late decline hurt Cobb's bottom line, this was the first time he had allowed more than three runs in over a month and ended a streak of three consecutive quality starts. He still owns a respectable 3.82 ERA and will look to get back on track Sunday against the Twins.
