The Rays recalled Cook from Triple-A Durham Friday.
He'll fill the roster spot vacated by the injured Shane McClanahan (back). Cook has posted a 3.78 ERA and 37:12 K:BB over 33.1 innings with Durham this season. He was added to the 40-man roster last offseason and will be making his major-league debut when he gets into a game.
