Banda (elbow) will begin a rehab assignment with High-A Charlotte on Sunday, Neil Solondz of the Rays Radio Network reports.
Banda continues to work his way back from last May's Tommy John surgery. With his rehab assignment now beginning, he'll have up to a month to get into game shape before he'll have to be activated from the injured list.
