Boxberger (back) will make his second rehab appearance with High-A Charlotte on Thursday, Roger Mooney of the Tampa Bay Times reports.
Boxberger noted that his arm felt fine Tuesday after he tossed one inning for Charlotte a night earlier in what was his first appearance in affiliated ball this season. In light of Boxberger's extended layoff along with the fact that he missed nearly half of last season due to injury, he may need the entire 30-day rehab window to build up his arm before being activated from the disabled list.
