Carlson went 2-for-4 with a solo homer, a stolen base and an additional RBI in Friday's 5-4 victory over Arizona.
The switch hitter picked up his third homer since joining Tampa Bay at the trade deadline with a 379-foot solo shot in the fifth inning. Carlson later plated his 19th RBI of the season with a run-scoring single in the eighth before pilfering his first bag with his new team. Since joining the Rays, the 25-year-old has batted .265 (9-for-34) with four runs scored, eight RBI and 3:10 BB:K while playing in a part-time role.
