The Rays selected Suwinski's contract from Triple-A Durham on Monday.
Suwinski was acquired from the Dodgers in exchange for Hunter Feduccia and Jacob Kmatz at the trade deadline in August. In 37 games with Triple-A Durham, Suwinski slashed .231/.296/.300 with one home run, 14 RBI, 12 runs scored, six stolen bases and an 11:38 BB:K across 143 plate appearances. He'll compete for a role with the big-league club during spring training.
