Rays starter Jake Odorizzi had to leave Friday's game against Seattle in the fifth inning.
Odorizzi had pitched 4 1/3 scoreless innings, allowing four hits, one walk and striking out four.
With one out in the fifth, Odorizzi met with the trainer on the mound and left the game. The team later said that he was suffering from left oblique tightness, per the Tampa Bay Times.
