Odorizzi (9-6) lasted just four innings Tuesday, allowing seven runs on six hits and three walks while striking out two and taking the loss against the Orioles.

Odorizzi was doing fine until the fourth inning Tuesday, when he walked two, hit a batter, and gave up a pair of singles before surrendering a grand slam to Baltimore third baseman Manny Machado. Odorizzi had been the Rays' most consistent pitcher lately, and had gone nine straight starts giving up three earned runs or fewer entering Tuesday. He still sports a 3.86 ERA and 1.23 WHIP, and will look to bounce back against the Yankees on Sunday.
