Wendle went 1-for-3 with a solo home run and two runs scored in Monday's 6-4 win over the Blue Jays.

Wendle's only hit of the night came late in the game when he led off the bottom of the eighth with a solo home run to right. The long ball was just his fourth since June 9 and his 11th of the year. The 31-year-old has maintained his solid plate prowess throughout the year, slashing .271/.324/.434 with 44 extra-base hits, 52 RBI, 69 runs scored, seven steals and 25:100 BB:K over 469 plate appearances.
