Rays' Joey Wendle: On bench against lefty

Wendle isn't starting Wednesday's game against the Blue Jays, Neil Solondz of the Rays Radio Network reports.

Wendle will retreat to the bench with left-hander Robbie Ray on the mound for the Blue Jays. Yandy Diaz will start at the hot corner and bat fourth.
