DeLuca is not in the lineup for Tuesday's contest against the Red Sox.
DeLuca started the last two games and three of the previous four contests, but he'll begin this one on the bench. Christopher Morel, Jose Siri and Josh Lowe will form the Rays' outfield in the series opener.
