Caballero is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Giants, Marc Topkin of the Tampa Bay Times reports.
Caballero will retreat to the bench for the series finale after he went 7-for-22 with a home run and a stolen base while starting each of the past six games. Niko Goodrum will replace Caballero at shortstop and will bat seventh.
