Lowe is out of the lineup for Friday's game against Baltimore, Marc Topkin of the Tampa Bay Times reports.
Lowe will get a day off with lefty Cole Irvin on the mound for the O's. Randy Arozarena, Jose Siri and Jonny DeLuca will patrol the outfield from left to right Friday.
