Forsythe (shoulder) is not in the lineup Tuesday against the Mariners, Ryan Divish of the Seattle Times reports.
X-rays came back negative on Forsythe's shoulder, but the club will still exercise caution and hold him out at least for Tuesday's game. Tim Beckham will fill in at the keystone in his stead and bat seventh against Wade Miley.
