Tapia went 3-for-5 with two steals and a run scored in Sunday's 12-8 win over the Blue Jays.
Tapia's three hits Sunday were his first and only hits for the Rays in five games since he was called up Sept. 23. It's certainly possible the team opts to keep Tapia on their playoff roster as a depth option with multiple field players currently sidelined due to injury.
