Hill was placed on the COVID-19 injured list Friday while experiencing side effects from the COVID-19 vaccine, Neil Solondz of the Rays Radio Network reports.
The move creates some roster space for the Rays while the veteran southpaw manages the side effects, and he can be activated within a day or two if he's feeling better. Hill was tentatively scheduled to start Sunday and could still make his regular turn through the rotation.
