Diaz (ribs) is available off the bench in Thursday's game against the Astros, Neil Solondz of the Rays Radio Network reports.

Diaz is slated to miss a second straight contest due to left rib discomfort, but he's feeling better and will be back in the lineup for Friday's series opener against the Yankees. Prior to his injury, the 30-year-old went 8-for-21 with two home runs, nine RBI and four runs across his last six appearances.
