Diaz was scratched from Friday's lineup against the Blue Jays due to an illness, Marc Topkin of the Tampa Bay Times reports.
Diaz's illness isn't believed to be COVID-19-related, but he'll be out of the lineup for at least one game. Whether he's available off the bench remains to be seen, but Taylor Walls will be added to the lineup at third base.
