Dalbec went 1-for-3 with a walk and a solo home run in Monday's 6-1 loss to the Rays.

Dalbec's bat has come alive of late. The rookie corner infielder has hit in five consecutive games, including four homers over the last four. He's been Boston's primary first baseman, but hitting woes throughout the season prompted a platoon that limited him to left-handers at various points. That hasn't been the case the last two games, though, as Dalbec started against righties Sunday and Monday, likely due to a resurgent bat. He's hit .345 during the month of August and climbed to .238 for the season, his highest point since mid-April.
