Dalbec remains out of the lineup for Monday's game against the Blue Jays, Bill Koch of The Providence Journal reports.
Dalbec will sit against a right-handed starting pitcher (Thomas Hatch) for the third game in a row, even with the injuries to Christian Arroyo (hamstring), Danny Santana (groin) and Marwin Gonzalez (hamstring) limiting Boston's alternatives at first base. Given his struggles against same-handed pitching this season, Dalbec appears set to remain in a short-side platoon role at first base, with either Franchy Cordero or Michael Chavis manning the position versus righties.
