Bello (14-7) picked up the win Saturday, allowing one run on four hits and two walks in 5.1 innings in a 7-1 victory over the Yankees. He struck out two.
The right-hander tossed only 54 of 98 pitches for strikes but was effectively wild, and all four hits off Bello went for singles. It's the fifth time in his last seven outings that he's given up two runs or less, a stretch in which he's posted a 3.07 ERA, 1.17 WHIP and 33:19 K:BB in 41 innings. Bello lines up to make his next start at home next weekend against the Twins.
