Pivetta allowed one run on four hits and one walk while striking out nine batters over six innings in a no-decision against Baltimore on Wednesday.
The only run Pivetta allowed came on an Emmanuel Rivera solo shot in the third inning. The right-handed hurler was otherwise excellent, notching his highest strikeout total since he tallied 10 punchouts against Seattle on July 29. Pivetta has been on a nice roll of late, notching three straight quality starts during which he's allowed just four runs while posting a 21:5 K:BB over 18 frames.
