Hill will start for Triple-A Worcester on Friday, Chris Henrique of Beyond the Monster reports.
It's the first start this season for Hill, who inked a minor-league contract with the Red Sox last week. It will be an abbreviated outing for Hill, with Brad Keller following him in a piggyback situation. The 44-year-old will likely need multiple appearances with Worcester before Boston considers adding him to its roster.
