The Red Sox promoted Anthony from Double-A Portland to Triple-A Worcester on Sunday, Alex Speier of The Boston Globe reports.
Anthony will take a step up to Worcester after compiling a .266 average with 14 home runs, 44 RBI, 57 runs scored and 16 stolen bases over 319 at-bats in 83 games with Portland this season. The outfielder will be joined in Worcester by two of the Red Sox's other top prospects in shortstop Marcelo Mayer and catcher Kyle Teel.
