The Reds selected Wynns' contract from Triple-A Louisville on Friday.
The 33-year-old will rejoin the Reds with starting catcher Tyler Stephenson being placed on the paternity list. Wynns is slashing .250/.309/.410 with 16 RBI this season in Louisville.
