Smith isn't part of the Reds lineup for the second game of a doubleheader against the Brewers on Friday.
Smith drew the start at first base for the matinee and went 1-for-3. However, with lefty DL Hall on the mound for Milwaukee, it'll be Ty France holding down first base for the nightcap.
