Gibaut has been returned from his rehab assignment due to renewed right forearm discomfort.
Gibaut had been close to rejoining the Reds' bullpen, but now he's having his rehab assignment paused. Reds manager David Bell said the reliever had "something done" Friday which could allow him to resume a rehab assignment next week.
