Candelario went 2-for-4 with a solo home run in a loss to the Royals on Saturday.
The Reds were thoroughly dominated in the contest, but Candelario at least prevented the team from being shut out with his seventh-inning solo blast. It was the infielder's 20th long ball of the campaign, marking the second straight season that he's reached that total. Though Candelario has experienced a drop in his batting average this season from .251 to .226, he's on pace to surpass last year's career-high marks of 22 long balls and 70 RBI.
