Barrero won't start Sunday against St. Louis, as he's still sore after exiting Saturday's game following a collision with teammate Tyler Naquin, C. Trent Rosecrans of The Athletic reports.
The exact nature and severity of Barrero's injury is unclear, but he's yet to be diagnosed with anything other than soreness. Eugenio Suarez starts at shortstop in his absence.
