Aguiar (2-0) picked up the win Friday, giving up three runs on three hits and two walks over 6.1 innings in an 8-4 victory over the Twins. He struck out four.

The rookie right-hander delivered his second career quality start on 86 pitches (57 strikes) but Aguiar was locked in a 1-1 pitchers' duel with Bailey Ober until the Reds erupted for six runs in the top of the seventh, securing the win for the 23-year-old. Through his first six big-league outings, Aguiar carries a 4.88 ERA, 1.23 WHIP and 15:10 K:BB. He lines up for his next trip to the mound at home next week against Atlanta.
