The Reds recalled Herget from Triple-A Louisville on Tuesday.

Herget will return to the bullpen mix ahead of Tuesday night's series opener against the Mets. He has registered a solid 2.35 ERA with four strikeouts through 7.2 innings of work this season at the major-league level.
