The Reds recalled Richardson from Triple-A Louisville on Tuesday, Charlie Goldsmith of The Cincinnati Enquirer reports.
Richardson is a good bet to handle bulk-relief duty following opener Tony Santillan in Tuesday's game versus the Cubs. The right-hander was up briefly with the Reds last week but did not make an appearance. He's posted a 4.48 ERA and 82:54 K:BB over 88.1 frames with Louisville this season.
