McLain went 0-for-2 with a walk and a stolen base in Saturday's 4-1 loss to the Pirates.
McLain has started all three games since coming off the injured list, slotting in at second base and ninth in the order. The stolen base was his 12th of the season and a sign that the calf injury, which landed him on the IL, is no longer an issue.
