Steer went 1-for-4 with a walk, a double, two RBI and two runs scored in Saturday's 11-1 win over the Twins.
All of Steer's activity occurred during the Reds' nine-run fourth inning. He led off the frame with a walk and scored the first run, then doubled in a pair before trotting home on TJ Friedl's home run. The two runs driven in established a new single-season career high of 88 RBI and were the first in 10 games for Steer, who entered the contest with just three RBI over the previous 17 games. Despite the recent lack of run production, Steer remains Cincinnati's leader in the category.
