Friedl went 1-for-4 with a three-run homer in Monday's 7-1 win over the Cubs.
Friedl blew the game open with a three-run shot in the fifth inning that chased started Jameson Taillon. Friedl has been in and out of the lineup due to injuries, and he just picked up his fifth home run in his 30th game. The 28-year-old just needs to stay healthy, but he can be a solid contributor, hitting at the top of the Reds lineup down the stretch.
