Barnhart is out of the lineup for the second game of Wednesday's doubleheader with the Cardinals.
After going 1-for-1 with a run and an RBI while starting at catcher in the Reds' 5-4 loss in Game 1 of the twin bill, Barnhart will get a breather for the nightcap. Tyler Stephenson checks into the lineup, catching for starting pitcher Sonny Gray.
