France went 3-for-5 with a solo home run in Monday's 10-3 win over the Marlins.

France was part of the Reds onslaught against the Marlins on Monday, blasting one of four homers by the group. It was his first homer as a member of the Reds in his fifth game since joining them. The veteran was designated for assignment by Seattle after managing a .662 OPS through 88 games and was 1-for-12 thus far in Cincinnati, so Monday's showing was a welcome sight.
