Rays pitcher Alex Colome is on his way to camp from the Dominican Republic after having his visa issues resolved, the Tampa Tribune reports.
Colome will compete for a rotation spot once he arrives in camp. He went 7-6 with a 3.77 ERA and 73:30 K:BB ratio in 86 innings over 15 starts with Triple-A Durham last season and played well in limited action with the Rays, posting a 2.66 ERA in 23 2/3 innings.
