Cron went 1-for-3 with a solo home run in Game 1 of Wednesday's doubleheader against the Cubs.
The first baseman launched a 421-foot solo shot in the second inning to give Colorado an early lead. He wasn't as effective in Game 2 of the twin bill, going 0-for-4 with a pair of strikeouts. Still, Cron has swung a hot bat of late, slashing .395/.460/.814 with four homers and 12 RBI over his past 12 games.
