Moustakas isn't in the Rockies' lineup Friday against the Angels, Patrick Lyons of TheDNVR.com reports.
The Angels will send southpaw Patrick Sandoval to the mound Friday, meaning Moustakas will retreat to the dugout. Elehuris Montero will start at first base instead and bat eighth.
