Prior to Wednesday's game, he had gone 0-for-13 with three walks over his previous four contests, and this was his first multi-hit effort since May 30 versus the Giants. The first baseman is batting .269 with a .776 OPS, eight homers, 31 RBI, 27 runs scored, 10 doubles and one triple over 65 contests this season.
