Mondesi went 1-for-4 with a pair of RBI, a stolen base and a run scored in Friday's 7-2 win over the White Sox.

Making his first start at third base, Mondesi had a solid performance. He didn't make any errors in the field, and his two-run single in the bottom of the third inning was enough for Kansas City to get the win. The 26-year-old has been limited to 12 games this year due to three separate stints on the injured list, but he's provided five home runs, 12 RBI, nine runs scored and three stolen bases while batting .356 in a small sample. He's more of a speed threat than a power option, and he's likely to receive regular rest days to avoid picking up another injury down the stretch.
