Santana went 1-for-4 with a two-run home run in Sunday's 3-2 win over Detroit.
Santana came up clutch in the bottom of the ninth, socking a walkoff homer off Detroit reliever Michael Fulmer. The blast was Santana's ninth of the season. The 35-year-old has added 31 RBI, 29 runs scored, a pair of stolen bases and a .257/.396/.461 slash line across 192 plate appearances. He sports an 18.2 percent walk rate and just a 14.1 percent strikeout rate as a key part of Kansas City's offense.
