Kansas City recalled Waters from Triple-A Omaha on Tuesday.
Waters will be brought up to fill in for Hunter Renfroe (toe) after Renfroe was sent to the 10-day IL. Waters homered eight times and swiped 16 bases with Kansas City last season and should mix in with Dairon Blanco in right field.
