The Royals scratched Caglianone from the lineup for Sunday's game against the Tigers due to ankle soreness.
Caglianone's right ankle is presumably still bothering him, after he was forced out of Wednesday's win over the Athletics and then ended up sitting out Thursday as well. Caglianone did suit up for the first two games of the Detroit series and went 1-for-8 with a double and a run scored. John Rave will get the nod in right field Sunday in place of Caglianone, who will be treated as day-to-day heading into a three-game series in Toronto that begins Tuesday.
